Zen and other poetry in Flash media

At http://www.storynest.com/, you'll find Flash animations that are more poems than graphical animation, let's just say they are graphical poems.

I think I like this one the most. Rain has its nice aspects, you know.

Eric Schmidt at Corporate Eco Forum

Eric Schmidt speaks at the Corporate Eco Forum on September 8, 2008 in San Francisco about climate change and what can be done about it. Amazing stuff, Eric Schmidt at what almost seems to be the unveiling of the next BIG thing at Google. Go take the lead, guys, if not you then who can? Take the power we, the users, give you and address the problems of the world. Way to go!

Google Video on your blog!

Hooray for Google! Its a deal: you let me put up the nice videos from video.google.com, I in return feature the Google Factory Tour from the Google Press Center that I found (well, to be honest it is a bit of a test on how well this feature works with large files on blogs). And that this blog, as well as the video itself is hosted on Google just goes to show you how nice people in Google are. :-) Seriously, Google just introduced a new feature to Google Video that lets you put videos directly onto your page. Isn't that nice? If the connection is not the best where you are, why not download the NEW Google Video Player , which lets you build up the video until it will play without interuption. And to celebrate this great feature a bit more, here is a site that features lots and lots of video footage from Google Video, fosfor video.

ninite.com

ninite.com helps you set up your very own and individual automated installer. Choose from a (quite well selected) list of essential freeware programs and download the resulting installer program. Run it, and it automatically installs your chosen programs. No stops for pressing "ok", just straight install of the programs, given they are not already installed, in which case the program detects it and updates it if neccessary. The link with which you can download the installer can be saved and used on any system. Its the easiest way to share your basic PC program configuration, or have it ready for when you have the task of setting up a new machine. It is brilliant! If you want, you can start with checking out or even automatically download and set up my selection of fine freeware.
